Reflections from the Global Sumud Flotilla and the Palestinian struggle

Join us for a public event on the recent Global Sumud Flotilla and its violent interception by Israeli authorities.
Hear from Dr Antonis Vradis, who was violently arrested and detained in two prisons, and join us in discussing the ramifications of the interception in blatant violation of international norms and law.
Most importantly, we will be using the event to visibilise the plight of Palestinian prisoners, hearing from Omar Khatib, who was recently imprisoned by Israel. We will also be reading a text from Walid Daqqa, a Palestinian novelist imprisoned for 38 years.
Nearly 10,000 Palestinians are currently detained across Israel, including approximately 500 children: none of us is free, until they are all free.
